From 8 to 10 July, ISS had the privilege of joining discussions with over 50 experts from at least 20 countries on developing a toolkit to prevent and respond to illicit practices. This is the first remote HCCH working group meeting since COVID-19.
ISS congratulates the work of the HCCH in courageously taking this work forward. ISS advocates for a comprehensive set of actions from all actors when such regrettable practices occur in adoption to prevent the abduction, sale and trafficking of children.
