Spotlight on solutions - Intrafamily intercountry adoptions: upholding the rights of the child
ISS/IRC is pleased to share its third publication as part of its comparative working series – designed for all professionals involved in intrafamily adoptions and/or cross-border family placements.
It compares the laws, policies and practices of more than 30 countries, identifying strengths and limitations, with a number of recommendations and promising practices.
The ISS/IRC would like to especially thank the French Central Adoption Authority for supporting the translation and design costs. The ISS/IRC hopes that this new publication will contribute to ensuring that adoption centres on the needs of the child and his or her best interests.
